BlackBerry on tuesday has announced a new full-touchscreen mid-range 4G LTE smartphone in an event which is to be priced at $275 (approximately Rs. 17,000).
Its a Single-SIM which runs on company's native BB10 (version 10.3.1) operating system.The device has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) Touch display with 294ppi pixel density.

The BlackBerry Leap is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM 8960 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. The primary camera is 8- megapixel autofocus rear shooter with LED flash and a 2-megapixel of secondary camera. Having 16GB of inbuilt storage and its external storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
In terms of Connectivity options it includes 4G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (LE) and EDR, GPS/ A-GPS, and FM radio. It comes with removable 2800mAh battery,
The other features The Blackberry Leap includes are dual-microphone for noise cancellation, accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors.
