The New Lava Icon Smartphone has got Launched

The Indian phone maker,The Lava has launched its new Icon smartphone in India which is priced at just  Rs. 11,990. However, the phone is available to you exclusively via Snapdeal . The Company has also given a offer that the first 500 orders on Snapdeal will get a free selfie-stick along with the smartphone.

The Phone has dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) support that runs on the company's Star OS based on Android 4.4 KitKat. It sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display that uses Asahi Dragontrail glass protection.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unknown chipset) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It has a 13-megapixel (Sony Exmor sensor) primary camera with dual-LED flash and 5-megapixel of  secondary.

In terms of connectivity the Lava Icon includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. It has a 2500mAh battery which claims to deliver up to 20 hours of talk time on 2G and 9 hours of talk time on 3G networks. The phone measures 143.41x70.56x7.7mm, and weighs 143 grams.

A New 4G LTE Support Smartphone Oppo A31 with 64-Bit Quad-Core SoC got Launched

A news reportedly revealed about the quite launch of New 4G LTE  Oppo Smartphone in China, named as the Oppo A31 which is priced  CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 10,000), However, the Oppo A31 is already listed on company's online store in China and will go up for flash sale on April 17.

The Oppo A31 is a dual-SIM Support that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the company's ColorOS 2.0.1 skin on top. It sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display which is powered by 64-bit quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.
The Smartphone comes up with 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
It has an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel of secondary camera.

The New Nikon 1 J5 Mirrorless Camera has Launched

On Thursday,Nikon has announced the another mirrorless interchangeable lens camera to its new 1-series - Nikon 1 J5. The J5 which is an upgrade to the J4, now includes the capability to shoot 4K video but only at 15fps.
However no date is set for the availablity for Nikon camera. But it will available 'soon' at just $499 with a 10-30mm (27-81mm equivalent) F3.5-5.6 VR power zoom lens. Its other variants include: 30-100mm (81-270mm equiv.) F3.8-5.6 VR telephoto kit for $749 and 10-100mm (27-270mm equivalent) kit priced at $1049.

The New J5 has a 20.8-megapixel 1-inch sensor. Nikon does away with the anti-aliasing (OLPF) filter. What this means is that captured shots will have more pixels at the expense of some moire creeping in. Nikon adds a new  5A image processing engine to the J5. The camera  offers continuous shooting with autofocus at approx. 20fps. The J5 has 171 contrast detection and 105 phase detection points.

It includes 3-inch Variangle LCD which can tilt 180 degrees making it easy to capture selfies. The design of the J5 has also gone through an upheaval with a new fax leather finish thumb rest and second control dial. Apart from having the ability to shoot 4K video at 15fps, the camera can also shoot 120fps slow motion video at 720p and 1200fps at 400x144 pixel resolution.
In terms of connectivity  The J5 can connects via Wi-Fi or NFC to a smartphone/tablet, which can then be used for transferring pictures or acts as a viewfinder.

HP Launches its New Range of Tablets

On Thursday, HP has launched seven new tablets in India for enterprise customers. Event iually,The tablets had been announced earlier this year globally.Thus, The HP Pro Slate 8 and HP Pro Slate 12 will comes in market by starting of May this year with a price tag of Rs. 33,000 and Rs. 41,500 respectively, while the HP Pro Tablet 408 G1, Pro Slate 10 EE and Pro Tablet 10 EE are available in market starting from Rs. 23,500, Rs. 22,000, and Rs. 25,000 respectively.
Finally, the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare Tablet and ElitePad 1000 G2 Rugged Tablet however be expected to come by July and will be priced starting from Rs. 85,000.

As per the specifications, the HP Pro Slate 8 and Pro Slate 12 respectively features a 7.86-inch full-HD QXGA (2048x1536 pixels) display and 12.3-inch (1600x1200 pixels) display.
Both the tablets runs on Android 4.4 KitKat which is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoCs coupled with 2GB of RAM. While the Pro Slate 8 comes in 16GB and 32GB storage variants, the Pro Slate 12 comes in only a 32GB storage variant.
Both the tablets offers a expandablility in storage via microSD card up to 32GB.

In terms of Connectivity options on both the tablets includes Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and Near Field Communication (NFC).
Both the HP Pro Slate 8 and Pro Slate 12 tablets come bundled with the company's new HP Duet Pen, which is being observed as "the first to use Qualcomm Snapdragon digital pen technology."
Both the tablet also has an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel of secondary camera.
A 37WHr Li-Po battery powers the larger tablet, while a 21WHr Li-Po battery powers the smaller one.

Other key features includes 8-inch HD (1280x800 pixels) IPS display; Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor (1.33GHz, up to 2.16GHz using Intel Burst Technology, 2MB cache, 4 cores, 4 threads); 2GB of RAM; an 8-megapixel AF primary camera and a 2-megapixel front facing secondary camera, 32GB/ 64GB storage variant options which can be further be expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB) .It comes up with a 4800mAh Li-ion battery.

The HP Pro Tablet 10 EE G1 comes up with Windows 8.1 Pro/ Windows 8.1/Windows 8.1 With Bing/Windows 8.1 Pro for Education OS options, while the Pro Slate 10 EE G1 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat . Both The tablets are powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G/Z3735F processor options (1.33GHz base frequency, 1.83GHz burst frequency, 2MB cache, 4 cores) coupled with 1GB/ 2GB of RAM options and feature a 10.1-inch WXGA (1200x800 pixels) display. While the Pro Slate 10 EE G1 comes in 16GB/ 32GB inbuilt storage options which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB), the Pro Tablet 10 EE G1 comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).

The tablets runs on Windows 8.1 Pro OS (the ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare is also available with Windows 8.1) and are powered by Intel Atom Z3795 processor (1.6GHz base frequency, 2.39GHz burst frequency, 2MB cache, 4 cores) coupled with 4GB of RAM. As for storage, both equip 128GB of inbuilt storage. Both the devices also includes a 8-megapixel of primary camera and a 2.1-megapixel of secondary camera .

The New Lenovo P70 with Octa-Core SoC Launched at Rs. 15,999

The New Lenovo P70 smartphone has been launched in India available through the company's online store, where it has gone up for pre-orders at Rs. 15,999. Lenovo's The Do Store listing has mentioned that the smartphone will comes on April 14 in India .However,In China the phone is unveiled in February.
The one of the most specific features of the Lenovo P70 is that it supports 4G LTE connectivity and comes up with a large 4000mAh battery which is claimed up to deliver up to 18 hours of talk time and up to 696 hours of standby time on 3G networks.

New Renault Lodgy MPV Launched in India

The French carmaker ,Renault has finally revealed about its Lodgy MPV in the Indian market which is priced at just for Rs. 8.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) .The New Lodgy empowers a 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine, but in two segments - 85PS (84bhp) and 110PS (108bhp). The one of the engine is the same that powers the company's most popular vehicle - The Duster. However, no petrol model is on offer now.


Though the Lodgy MPV is sold in international market as the Dacia Lodgy , The Indian model has been nemed as the Renault Lodgy. The MPV not only has similar platform  with the Duster, but also their interior too.


The Lodgy offers a quite spacious cabin with the class-leading wheelbase of 2,810mm. The vehicle is bought to be in either 7- or 8-seat configurations. While the 7-seater features captain seats for the second row passengers, the 8-seater will have a flat second row seat for three passengers.
