Huawei SnapTo, the new smartphone has recently listed at an e-commerce website which has been officially launched in the US with a price tag of $179.99 (approximately Rs. 11,200).
The new smartphone will be available via Amazon in the US and will be available as a factory unlocked device. On the Amazon listing The company also focussed that the handset will work with both AT&T and T-Mobile networks.
Currently, the online retailer is taking pre-orders for the handset as the released date is on April 17.
It's worth to be know that the pricing of the Huawei SnapTo has been kept around that of Motorola's immensely popular Moto G (Gen 2), which was launched in India at Rs. 12,999 for the 16GB model. This results that the Chinese handset maker just might be promoting it as the direct competition to the second-generation Moto G. However, the Chinese company has not yet revealed about the launch of the handset in other markets as well.
It has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) TFT LCD display which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The phone is a Android 4.4-KitKat based which includes 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable via microSD card.
The Smartphone sports a 5-megapixel of primary camera and a 2-megapixel of secondary camera. The smartphone packs a 2200mAh battery, Thus supports AT&T and T-Mobile LTE bands.
In terms of connectivity it includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Micro-USB, FM radio, and Bluetooth options.
