The Start for the updates of Android 5.0 Lollipop for Lava Iris X1 Grand

On Tuesday, The Indian mobile maker The Lava company has announced about the start of update
of the Android 5.0 Lollipop version for the recent launch of Iris X1 Grand smartphone with Android 4.4 KitKat . About the updates of the Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Lava Iris X1 Grand ,The users will receives a notification of the update when they switch on to the Internet, said by the company said.

 Inorder to check smartphone manually for update the user just go to the phone  Settings - About phone - Software update on thier Smartphone.

The size of Android 5.0 Lollipop is about 550MB .Not much details is revealed about the complete change log for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.some detailsis only written in the blog like the new OS update brings new lock screen, new notification centre, and new UI.

The New Android 5.0 Lollipop has an improved notification system, which Kills Switch and has improved security, improved hardware keyboard accessory support (including support for multilingual, emoji input, search key, and improved app and system key chords), it also has a support for 15 new languages (like Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu),has improved accessibility features (as text contrast boost, colour inversion, and enhanced colour differentiation),has improved audio, video, and camera capabilities, and improved Internet connectivity everywhere apart from more powerful Bluetooth with low energy capabilities.

The Lava Iris X1 Grand supports Dual SIM which was launched in beginning of  January with a price tag of Rs. 7,326 .however, The company had also promised for an Android 5.0 Lollipop update at the time of launch. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6582M processor which is  coupled with 1GB of RAM.

 The Smartphone has a 8-megapixel of primary camera with dual-LED flash and a BSI II sensor and can record videos in full-HD and a 2-megapixel of secondary camera .

 It has a 8GB of inbuilt storage which is further be expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). 

The handset comes up with a 2200mAh Li-Po battery.
