Archos Launched 4 New Smartphones and 3 Tablets at an Event

The French smartphone maker, Archos, has announed four new budget smartphones a. The smartphones launched t an Event name MWC 2015.The phones are the Archos 50 Oxygen+, 52 Platinum, 59 Xenon, and 62 Xenon. The company  also launched three new tablets in the market named Archos 101 Magnus, 101 Magnus +, and 94 Magnus.


The  Archos 50 Oxygen + is a dual-SIM supporting phone which looks similar to the previous launched 50C Oxygen. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution IPS display and is powered by  1.4GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6592 processor, coupled with 1GB RAM and Mali 450MP4 GPU.The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has 8-megapixel primary camera with BSI sensor , and include 5-megapixel secondary camera. The  Smartphone has inbuilt storage of 16GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB).
The smartphone comesup with both 3G and 4G LTE models, in terms of connectivity it includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and USB support.it has a 2000mAh battery.The 3G model of Archos 50 Oxygen+ will be available in market from starting March at a sub-$200 (roughly Rs. 12,400) price range, the 4G LTE version will arrive in June.



The Archos 52 Platinum ,59 Xenon and 62 Xenon smartphones are powered by the same 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6582 coupled with 1GB of RAM. Other specifications that are common in these three phones are 8GB of expandable inbuilt storage and 8-megapixel primary camera. However, while the 52 Platinum and 59 Xenon has 2 MP of  secondary cameras, the 62 Xenon equips a 5 MP of  secondarycameras.
The phones are dual-SIM which runs on Android 4.4 KitKat-based  with different screen sizes. The Archos 52 Platinum houses 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution display, while the 59 Xenon and 62 Xenon sport 5.9-inch HD and 6.27-inch HD displays respectively. While the battery capacity of 59 Xenon is kept as secret, the 52 Platinum and the 62 Xenon comes up with a 1750mAh and 2300mAh battery respectively.
The 52 Platinum, 59 Xenon, and 62 Xenon are priced at $145 (roughly Rs. 9,000), $158 (roughly Rs. 9,800), and $170 (roughly Rs. 10,500) respectively.

Tablets
In terms of  tablet section, Archos also launched three new devices named Archos 101 Magnus, 101 Magnus +, and 101 Magnus +s. Archos  also claimed that out of these three, the 94 Magnus is the world's first ever tablet with 256GB of inbuilt storage which will be available to launch in April this year, the 101 Magnus +, 101 Magnus, and 94 Magnus will be priced at GBP 249 (roughly Rs. 23,800), GBP 129 (roughly Rs. 12,300), and GBP 249 (roughly Rs. 23,800) respectively.
The Archos 94 Magnus runs on  Android 4.4 KitKat-based which features a 9.4-inch HD (1280x800 pixels) resolution IPS display and is powered by 1.8GHz quad-core Rockchip RK 3288 processor, coupled with 1.5GB RAM and Mali T764 GPU. The tablet has a 256GB of inbuilt storage, also supports an additional 128GB via  microSD card. It has a 5-megapixel primary camera and a 0.3-megapixel of secondary camera .It is backed by a 6400mAh battery.


The Archos 101 Magnus ,the OS has not been mentioned  yet by the company,but is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT8127 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali 450MP4 GPU. The tablet comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage with no comments about its expandability, with a 2-megapixel primary camera and a 0.3-megapixel secondary camera and is backed by a 4000mAh battery.

The Archos 101 Magnus+ powered by the same Rockchip processor and GPU seen in 94 Magnus tablet, coupled with 2GB of RAM. Which features a 10.1 full-HD (1920x1200 pixels) resolution IPS display, the tablet has a 5-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. Also, includes 128GB of inbuilt storage , with no details on its expandability option.And has a 7000mAh battery.
