Apple has boycotted Samsung to gain its top position in global smartphone sales
in the fourth quarter, said by market tracker.As
Gartner survey found that Apple grabbed a 20.4 percent shares of smartphone sales as introduction of its large-screen iPhones. The survey found that The
California giant firm had sold some 74.8 million handsets.South Korea's company Samsung saw its share to 19.9 percent only, as its smartphone sales had been dropped to 73 million units only.
Other surveys also has shown that Apple and Samsung are in a virtual tie, but The Gartner survey showed a clear lead for the US firm which is Apple.
"However Samsung continues to struggle to control its falling shares, which was at its highest panel in the third quarter of 2013.Gartner surveyer Roberta Cozza says Apple is dominating the premium phone market and Chinese manufacturers gaining an increasing share of the market for low-cost budget phones.Robert also says that Samsung needs "a solid ecosystem for apps, content and services to Samsung devices.
